Dog rolls on

With the help of Adam of Debdale, I have now got my DogRoll up to 17, wth recent additions including Caxton, The Maisibert, Muriel, Enigma and Moore2life. I hope that this is hot enough for Granny. Actually, this post is just an excuse to include a cute dog pic.

P.S. Make that 18. Welcome, NB Kestrel
P.P.S. And Beau makes 19

You've lost one, unless he was taking the photo of course?

Oh yes, that's just one of his many talents, alongside eating, sleeping and farting!

new to liveaboard narrowboating, pip on hetty pegler at brinklow with bess the galgo [greyhound].
after three years of camper van, plus campo moroccan style house in andalucia, now back in england.
the years in spain working with terrified, abused, beaten starved animals, mainly the spanish racing galgos,[greyhounds] and their macho gypsy owners, the hunters and galguerros, liasing with SOS galgos in barcelona and at animales vagabondes in spain, greyhounds in need and anne finch in england. collecting funds from many supportive friends in england, we managed to buy a mercedes wagon, fund fifteen new wooden kennels in rota, near cadiz, the wagon was great for taking animals to malaga airport, ready for transport to new homes, usually in holland, belgium, or denmark. virgin airwyays funded 5 places per month for our dogs to leave spain for new homes, many stories here i might add.
bess, the galgo living on hetty pegler was found lying on a motorway outside seville, almost dead, with a hip displacement, and emaciated and dehydrated, suffering from uncontrollable shaking fits and leishmania, a nasty disease caused by mosquitoes. bess couldnt be rehomed due to her mental and physical condition, also all our homes for dogs with leishmania were full, so i adopted bess during my last few months working in spain at the rescue kennels, then drove from cadiz to cherbourg in a little swb ford transit with the terrified bess and over the channel from cherbourg to uk. thanks to many kind people here at brinklow marina, bess can now be touched, and is a loving friendly 2 year old, although rather cold here in england and missing the deserted wild beach where we lived and worked in spain. so many stories, so many animals, time for a break now. i would like some new friends
on narrowboats please. pip
