Now there's a thing

Although I can't weigh myself until I get home in 10 days time, I'm fairly confident that I'm now approaching the 4 stone mark in terms of pounds lost (56 lbs in total). Today, because his lordship was doing something terribly important, I had to heft a 25kg bag of coal into the boat (55lbs in total). It was quite a shock to feel just how heavy that was...and to think that my bum's being wearing a sack of nutty slack all this time.

Four stone is a hell of a lot to lose so quickly - don't make yourself ill by losing too much more too quickly. It's taken me a year to lose two and a half stone - I've not been so iron willed as you though, so well done, but take care!

Thanks Pip - feeling okay at the mo and am being sensible in that I'm not undertaking any mad exercise at the same time, just gentle stuff I'm building into my normal day. It's keeping it off that'll be the challenge! See you out there, hopefully still slim!

I'm sure you will still be slim - you were probably slimmer before you started than I am now after dropping the two and a half stone! I don't think I will ever be slim again - but then I don't remember the last (and only!) time I was - aged 17 maybe after 6 gruelling weeks on basic training at RAF Spitalgate when I joined the WRAF!
